General
This website is operated by the Struggle for Ethiopian Aliyah ("the Organization"). We respect users' privacy and act in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981.
What information we collect
Information voluntarily submitted in forms on the site: name, phone, email, city, volunteering areas, and family relation. The form for registering a family member waiting in Ethiopia also collects the waiting person's details (name, father's and grandfather's names, year of birth, marital status, place of waiting, and details about community life), provided by a relative in Israel who declares they are authorized to provide them. We do not collect information you did not provide.
How the information is used
Contacting you about your inquiry, coordinating volunteer activity, sending updates about the campaign (with your consent), handling waiting-list check requests, and compiling an organized registry of waiting family members to advance aliyah and family reunification.
Information sharing
Information is never sold and never shared with commercial parties, and is stored in a secured database accessible only to a small team. Details submitted through the waiting-registry form may, with the registrant's consent and for this purpose only, be presented to official bodies such as the Population and Immigration Authority, government ministries, and Knesset members, as part of advancing aliyah.
The waiting lists
The Gondar and Addis Ababa waiting lists are not published on this site. The check service allows searching a name only and returns a match confirmation without exposing additional personal details, to protect the privacy of those waiting.
Your rights
You may at any time request to review the information stored about you, correct it, or delete it, and remove yourself from the mailing list. Contact us using the details at the bottom of the site.
Data security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and information is stored on secured cloud services. We take reasonable, accepted measures to protect the information.
Image copyright
The photographs on this site were taken by the campaign's photographers and community members, and are shown with photographer credits. We have made every effort to identify and credit all rights holders. If you recognize an image you own that lacks proper credit, or an image you would like removed, contact us via the details at the bottom of the site and we will correct or remove it promptly.
